Digital marketing manager required for a MNC. The ideal candidate should posess 3 - 8 years experience in web, social domain. This job is in Bangalore. The compensation is between 10,00,000 - 20,00,000 P.A.
What are the duties of a Digital Marketing Manager?
- Capability to conceptualize, plan and execute comprehensive social media campaigns for different verticals.
- Create brand engagement through constant participation in social networking sites like: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Google+ etc. Gain strong traction for this brand on social sites and build a reactive userbase on these networking sites
- Plan and manage ORM (Online Reputation Management) activities.
- Keep abreast with the changes in the industry ( Be current with the updates on industry trends, issues / hurdles, website features and best practices).
- Prepare blog calendar and create a plan to create interactive:Blogs / Threads, Community, Training videos / webcast / webinars, Podcast, Social Media Campaigns
- Incumbent should have knowledge of on-line marketing activities like SEM, SEO etc.
- Tracking & monitoring of each activity.
Key skills required for the job of social media manager:
- Excellent communication & presentation skills - Both Verbal and Written (Indian local languages will be an added advantage).
- Bachelors in Journalism & media background will be preferred.
- Should have ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams.
- Should have a proven track record of managing digital marketing campaigns or related marketing activities in past.
- Good knowledge of data collection & interpreting that into useful information using available web analytics tools.
- Should have worked with online media companies
- Should have content driven inclination as the immediate client will be a media/news/magazine company.
